hey, do you know if it is possible to make it so that the mission briefing I have written appears before I load my map in the game. I imagined it would appear sort of like the text before a standard mission in stronghold 3 or any other of the previous strongholds

Below it’s a video about what you just read.

When the map is finally finished go to File and Save it in this folder C:\Users\user name\Documents\Stronghold 3\Maps

After you done everything above the map it’s not finished,you have to go to Edit Scenario and choose the type of the map (Military,Economic,Free Building etc.) and starting good,what buildings/troops are available for that map and so on.

After you made hills,rivers,forests and other things on the map,place the keeps,one for each player (max. 4) then look in Tools menu for “Factions” and you have to surround the area of the keep with the colour of the player.

If you want to make Sea,you have to choose to altidude of the water,initially it’s at 200 and you have to lower it till “o” (zero) or under zero if you want to be able to place buildings on your new map.

If you want to make a mountain,a valley,a hill or if you want to place a keep or any kind of building you always have to keep your finger on CTRL then Left Click,this is how the program works.If you want to place anything on the map CTRL+Left Click,hope everything it’s clear now.

As many of you know,Stronghold 3 comes with a MapEditor as every game from Stronghold Series and this time,this is going to be 3D.Here I’m going to give you some ESSENTIAL tips on how to use this MapEditor.
